The central government should increase the budget for upgrade of residential roads through the Local Councils under strict auditing and planning procedures. Local Councils have to be accountable for their budget expenditure, encouraged and assisted to tap from EU funds for resurfacing of roads
Residential areas including the mess of cabling running about in our streets. I live in a very picturesque alley totally ruined by electricity, telephone and TV cables. Such a shame it looks like a 3rd world country...
