We lack a comprehensive educational facility when it comes to conservation. The M.Arch that prospective architects read does include conservation and there are other masters in cultural management and in the conservation of decorative surfaces. All the rest is missing. There is nothing to do with paintings, textiles, paper, wood, metals, not even stone. We repeatedly find foreigners carrying out such works and local firms do not find locals to employ.
