Our infrastructure does not offer sufficient alternative routes when a major road is blocked, hence getting rid of a congestion should be our priority. Whether its a routine car breakdown or a minor accident, towing service companies should be incentivised to get these cars off the road in the shortest time possible. My suggestion is to get all road service providers networked together with one point of contact number so the closest tow-truck gets the job to tow the car off the road.
Incentivise tow truck companies to place tow trucks in strategic places during rush hours to get problematic cars off the road ASAP.
