To try and attract more juniors into playing bowls, working in conjunction with Active Schools and Cowal Community Sports Hub. We are also running after school clubs for the schools.
Not enough young people are coming into the sport of bowls, primarily due to lack of promotion. By working in conjunction with the Schools, Active Schools and Cowal Community Sports Hub, we are able to encourage young people to try a different sport, that isn't usually on offer within mainstream education.

The Bogleha' Bowls project wasn't quite ready to submit an application to the Argyll and Bute Supporting Communities Fund but we wish them well and look forward to hearing how they get on.
