We are a new community group formed to provide each other with support, activities, friendship, tea and cake! Meeting once a month in our village hall, to share memories, and importantly make new ones. From the young in our community, to the older generations, learning from one another, and learning together.... We shall be playing games, doing artwork, talking, sharing, and laughing together... We want everybody to have somebody, nobody isolated or lonely, whether young or old. "Togetherness". 👪
Small Communities can be special places to live in and be a part of. But being 'a part of', and not 'apart' is the special thing. Rural areas especially, with people young and old living in different places, can find it hard to make connections. Generation Arrochar aims to provide a time, and opportunity where people can come together, to be included in something, to take the first steps on a journey, which generations can share. 'Roots to remind you where you are from, together we grow 👪
Totally endorse this proposal to link people from all spectrums we have so much to share with each other and this is a good project to develop this medium..
Interesting idea - what does everyone else think?
