The UK gov is giving money to plant trees, so FTC should apply and spread trees around town, also enhancing the river banks with trees and removing excessive brambles and ivy, while getting the new p/t Dog Warden to ensure no dog mess under new trees ,or anywhere...
What's not to love - we need more trees! (I don't entirely understand the bit about a dog warden and new trees though - please explain.)
Loads of free trees around already, FTC doesn't need to pay for more. More important to stop people tarmacking their front gardens and decking their rear gardens. At least three in my road over the past 18 months.
