Some areas of the bike trail could be repaved or cleared off. Some branches hang over the trail. Some of the trail path is narrow between West Salem and Onalaska. The trail is a grass road outside of the under railroad pass bike trail and the Veterans Memorial Park. Wouldn't it be nice for all bikes, walkers, and veterans to set up a gravel or paved trail from Veterans Memorial Park in West Salem to the Great River bike trail? The under train bridge at this area needs attention too.
how would this most appeal to la crosse city residents? would this be a good fit for the Onalaska SOUP?

I have not contacted the DOT, department of transportation or anyone else on this-trail management or county. I am not sure who it would be. I am just opening up conversations and I appreciate the feedback. I am willing to let someone take over the idea since I am super busy.
I would say that this would help Lacrosse city residents to use the trails near them and out in the same county. This may work for either LaCrosse or Onalaska Soup. I didn't know Onalaska had Onalaska SOUP.
