The Elizabeth Line, as it will be called, was supposed to open fully at the end of last year, with trains running in the central tunnelled section. However, construction alongside Eastbourne Terrace should have progressed sufficiently, much earlier, possibly a year ahead, to enable Eastbourne Terrace to be fully reopened, with three lanes of traffic, pedestrian crossings and bus stops on both sides. This needs to be done ASAP to make things easier for residents.
