We need a paradigm shift away from the 'buy, use, ditch' approach. This links to national and international policy, because things are made to be cheap, not to last - to maximise profits and for convenience. Push to overturn that locally, getting goods/materials used responsibly eg: sharing/hiring instead of owning equipment (eg Share Oxford - Library of Things); repairs services (repair cafes, services); refill services; materials reuse (eg Orinoco) etc. PLAN/ENABLE these things.
