We need Doughnuts in Northern Ireland... not the sugary kind but balanced ones... Where rather than trying to grow the economy infinitely we learn to thrive. We need to understand both the minimum we need for social justice as well as the maximums we shouldn't exceed four our planetary and local limits. Dougnuts are scalable from a City Portrait lens such as. has been done for Amsterdam and many other cities to a country level picture in a global context. There is already a Doughnut Economics Action Lab https://doughnuteconomics.org/ and a Irish Doughnut Economics Network its time to bring the concept to Northern Ireland and build on the success of others
