As 25% of the population Children and Young People (CYP) are all of our future.
This idea is not explained well enough to deserve support. What does "focus" mean in reality, and what outcome is envisaged?
Greater focus in enhancing community care of CYP is critical we have 1200 school nurses for 24, 000 schools, we lack Paediatric skilled professionals in primary care, and we do not have Community Children's Nurses to provide care at home whenever safe and appropriate to do so. Greater community mental health/preventative care is key too. CYP care requires much greater priority if we are to build a healthier future.
